Service Description

We attend to minor wounds and lacerations with suturing or gluing when necessary. Cryotherapy (freezing therapy) is offered for the treatment of warts, verrucae and some other suitable skin conditions. We can also remove some skin tags/lesions by cautery in our clinic. We can provide joint injections for certain rheumatological conditions. Please discuss with your GP beforehand. Venesection is provided for patients with Haemochromatosis following assessment. Blood tests ordered by your GP, or required for routine monitoring of certain conditions/treatments ,are performed, usually by appointment in the morning so that samples can be sent that day to the laboratory, by courier. Please arrange ,in advance , by contacting Reception.
